86th Annual Venetian Festival

What began 86 years ago as a simple candle-lit boat parade has grown into a week-long flurry of color and pageantry that highlights the summer season and attracts tens of thousands of visitors.

The Festival offers a wonderful variety of events geared to delight and entertain every age group. Most events take place within waterfront parks, Round Lake Harbor and Lake Charlevoix. Come join in a variety of fun and exciting events geared to delight and entertain the entire family. Each day offers a variety of activities ranging from sporting events to spectacular fireworks over Round Lake. It's a week that you won't want to miss!

The Bay Harbor Arts Festival is celebrating its 17th Anniversary in the Village at Bay Harbor. Bay Harbor is one of Northern Michigan's premier destinations. The Village sets upon beautiful Lake Michigan, just steps to Bay Harbor Lake Marina, boutique shopping and dining. As always, we offer complimentary and convenient parking for all artists and guests.

58th Annual Waterfront Art Fair

Many of the nation's finest artists and craftsmen will be coming to the Charlevoix Waterfront Art Fair to exhibit their best works. These have been chosen from over 1000 applicants who subject their work to the jury. This is a most difficult task as this fair attracts the finest but only a limited number of spaces are available.

The Fair is always held the second Saturday in August and draws over 25,000 art lovers to this resort town between Lake Michigan and Round Lake. It is the second oldest juried art fair in Michigan.

Bay Harbor Home Tour 2016

he Bay Harbor Foundation's Annual Bay Harbor Home Tour is a two-hour guided tour of four classic Bay Harbor homes held every September.  Participants enjoy learning about the history of Bay Harbor as they are driven through Bay Harbor on old-fashioned trolleys, and then are shown through the fabulous homes by knowledgeable and experienced guides.

Little Traverse Half Marathon

Get ready for a unique, "must-do" running experience around Little Traverse Bay! The Outfitter of Harbor Springs presents the Little Traverse Half Marathon and 10K Run/Walk. This point- to-point course around Little Traverse Bay is flat and fast offering a diverse route with incredible views of Lake Michigan. The half marathon starts in the Village of Bay Harbor and the 10k starts in Petoskey State Park with both races finishing at Zorn Park in Harbor Springs. Post race food and festivities, including a free Kids Run, are done in small-town style right on the waterfront.
