Christkindlmarkt in The Village at Bay Harbor

Announcing the inaugural Slifco Electric Christkindlmarkt hosted in The Village at Bay Harbor! The entire Village is partnering with local artisans to bring area residents and holiday visitors an enchanted and magical weekend on December 15 and 16, 2018. The Village at Bay Harbor will be transformed into a whimsical village of Christmas lights, cozy shops, spirited drink and song that creates the ambiance of olde world Germany, modeled after traditional holiday markets sprinkled across Europe.

The Christkindlmarkt in The Village at Bay Harbor is an additional festivity surrounding the Inn at Bay Harbor's Spaliday event and Crooked Tree Arts Center performances of The Nutcracker Ballet at the new Great Lakes Center for the Arts. With decorated windows, lit trees and cozy bonfires lining Main Street, over 20 artisans will offer pop up shops in seasonal retail spaces, with the Village shops Tulips, Rebecca's, Carl Sterr and Candy Harbor re-opening for this special event. The Village restaurants Main Street Market, Knot Just a Bar, Vintage Chophouse | Wine Bar and Fox and Rose will be featuring special German food and drink menus. There will be strolling entertainment, Santa and his elves, a kids' holiday craft station and more!

The popular Santa Fun Run returns to kick off the event at 10 AM on Saturday, December 15! With two costume-encouraged runs  - a 3k for the adults, and a 1k for the kiddos - Santas, elves and Grinches will run, hop, sled and slide through the Village. All proceeds from the Santa Fun Run will be managed by the Bay Harbor Foundation to help local charities this holiday season.
