October 07, 2016

OCTOBER 22, 7PM

Join us for Sparkle's five-course dinner on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 7-9pm featuring five different award-winning sparkling wines from the Leelanau Peninsula's L. Mawby Vineyards. Our chefs worked closely with Larry Mawby, who has been making the L. Mawby traditional method sparkling wines since the first sparkling wine in 1984, to create this special menu.

The night will include a tasting of signature sparkling wines, including L. Mawby's Talismon, which recently won a gold medal at the 2016 Tasters' Guild Wine Competition, Tradition, and Consort, as well as M. Lawrence's green, and Detroit.

The winery's Elm Valley location in Suttons Bay, MI, was established 1976, and today boasts 20 acres of vines, including pinot noir, vignoles, pinot gris, regent, riesling, chardonnay and pinot meunier varieties. L. Mawby sources grapes for M.Lawrence from Leelanau Peninsula, southwest Michigan and California.
