The Inn at Bay Harbor located in Bay Harbor, Mich., is raising a glass to Mom's during the all-new Wine on the Bay, Mother's Day Weekend, May 10-12, 2019. 

The celebration begins on Friday, May 10 with a complimentary wine tasting reception from 4-6 p.m. in the lobby for resort lodging guests with the Inn's Certified Sommelier, Bryan Banfield.  Vintage Chophouse | Wine Bar, the resort's lakeside restaurant with over 120 wines on menu, is offering specialty wine paired feature dishes all weekend beginning on Friday.  

Start Saturday morning with Sparkle at The Spa from 10 a.m. to noon where guests can be pampered with choice of one 25-minute mini service, a manicure, pedicure or massage, for $25, while also enjoying mimosas, petite pastries, giveaways, and spa samples.  Space is limited and reservations are required by calling 231.439.4046.   

Also on Saturday, event goers can participate in a tour of three wineries along the AVA-accredited Petoskey Wine Trail, Rudbeckia Farm, Walloon Lake Winery, and Mackinaw Trail Winery.  The Inn's shuttle will transport resort lodging guests to enjoy wine tastings and the gorgeous countryside scenery.  Group transportation is complimentary; tastings are additional.  Guests are also welcome to tour the Petoskey Wine Trail and its 12 wineries on their own.  A brochure and information is available from the Inn's Concierge.  Transportation seating is limited; reservations are required by calling 231.439.4000.   

Saturday evening delight in a Tasting Mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. with four tasting tables to experience Michigan wines, alongside wines of the world.  Hand-selected by the Inn's Sommelier, each tasting table offers themed wine tastings, with perfectly paired small bites.  The tables feature Pinot Noirs with Seared Duck Breasts with Lingonberry; Champagnes and Sparkling Wines with Smoked Salmon Blinis; Cabernets with Wagyu Flank Steaks and Roasted Fingerling Potatoes; and Rieslings with Wedge Salad Skewers.  Tickets are $45 and include 13 wine tastings, food pairings, a commemorative wine glass, and live music.  Tickets can be purchased online by visiting innatbayharbor.com or at the door.
