Vintage Chophouse | Wine Bar to Host Charity Event Benefitting Bluestem Farm’s Help Others Eat Well Fund

The Inn at Bay Harbor  welcomes guests this Friday, May 22, to Vintage Chophouse | Wine Bar, the resort's newest dining experience.

Vintage delivers breathtaking waterfront views and embodies all the charm of a classic American steakhouse reflecting the elegance of a bygone era, and complemented by elements of an upscale lounge.  Indoor and outdoor terrace dining provides seating for over 100 guests.  Both options serve up spectacular sights of Little Traverse Bay in addition to exquisitely prepared foods and drinks in a distinctive and hospitable setting.

Executive Chef Barbie Papi's menu is casually-upscale.  There are nods to local favorites such as Whitefish Tacos featuring a red cabbage buttermilk slaw and Whitefish Po' Boy, both sourced from John Cross Fisheries, as well as modern interpretations of traditional cuts and chops including a Buffalo Brisket Melt, Blackened Flank Steak, Tenderloin, and short rib blended Bay Harbor Burger.  Vintage also offers a refined selection of salads, soups and starters making it the perfect choice for special occasions or a casual gathering with friends. 

Regional food producers, Plath's Meats, John Cross Fisheries, Cherry Capital and Murdick's Fudge are supported on the menu, as are Bill's Farm Market and Pond Hill Farms with specialty dining features.

Not to be outdone, Vintage's beverage program consisting of a shaken, not stirred swagger features classic cocktails, martinis, intriguing wine labels and craft beers to sip and enjoy a northern Michigan sunset.  Ports and hand-crafted desserts are a fitting way to round off the Vintage experience.

Vintage serves lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and dinner nightly from 5:30 to 10 p.m., Sunday-Thursday, and 5:30 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.  Live entertainment is offered on the terrace each Sunday from noon to 4 p.m., and on Mondays from 7 to 11 p.m.
