Get onto the water in style during your stay with Lake Escapes! Guests can enjoy four-hour excursions aboard a captained, private Hinckley Yacht exploring the open water of Lake Michigan, discovering sandy beaches, or the unique beauty of Lake Charlevoix with four different cruise destinations.
We've partnered with Barton & Gray Mariners Club so you and your group of up to 12 people can cruise the waters of northern Michigan in leisurely luxury aboard a generously stocked, classic yacht.

Plus your day is made delicious with an exclusive menu of house-made platters, delivered to your yacht.

FAQ
Guests of the hotel and Cottages are able to reserve Lake Escapes.
Reservations can be made through the Inn's Concierge by calling 231.439.4003. Reservations are based on availability, and advance notice on reservations are required.
The 36' yacht accommodates up to 6 guests, and the 44' yacht accommodates up to 12 guests.
Guests have four pre-planned routes to choose from, or you may make a customized cruise request.
Harbors Cruise | A slow cruise along the shorelines of Historic Harbor Point, Bay Harbor, Harbor Springs Bay View, Petoskey, and Wequetonsing.
Lake Charlevoix | Cruise along Lake Michigan shoreline, just past the Charlevoix lighthouse, and into scenic Round Lake and Lake Charlevoix.
Menonoqua Beach | A cruise to the bottom of Little Traverse Bay to beautiful sandy beach.
Boyne City | Cruise along Lake Michigan shoreline, past Charlevoix, and into the heart of Lake Charlevoix to explore Boyne City
You'll meet your captained yacht at Bay Harbor Lake Marina, just moments from the Inn. Guests can drive their own vehicle and self-park, or take the Inn's guest shuttle. Then, head to the docks to board the boat - slip number will be provided ahead of time.
The yacht is stocked with beverages, included in the price.
You may also order additional food from the Inn's curated Lake Escapes menu, with 48-hour advance notice.

Cancellations 30 days or more ahead of outing will be fully refunded. Cancellations 8-30 days before the outing will be billed 50%. All cancellations within 7 days from the outing will be billed at 100%. Maintenance or weather related cancellations at the discretion of Barton & Gray Mariners Club will be fully refunded.
