About Schramsberg
Regaled for over 70 years, Schramsberg Vineyards focuses on producing the finest and most complex handcrafted sparkling wines in California. Preserving century-old traditions, many of their viticultural and winemaking practices are still carried out by hand. Unique among California sparkling wine houses, they ferment 25% of its juice in oak barrels to produce a richer, more luscious style.

Meet Your Guide, Rimple Nayyer
Rimple began his wine career in the mid-1990s, a passion that led him to open Bar Divani, a wine-focused restaurant in Grand Rapids, MI in 2002, featuring global small plates, wine education classes, and monthly wine dinners. In 2013, he became Food and Beverage Director at Peter Island Resort and Spa in the British Virgin Islands, where he overhauled the food and wine program to a Michelin-starred caliber.
In 2015, Rimple moved to Napa, joining Schramsberg as a wine educator before being promoted to Hospitality Manager at Davies Vineyards in St. Helena, CA, where he develops tasting and educational experiences and conducts wine dinners and account visits nationwide. He holds a WSET Diploma, is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, and a Certified Specialist of Wines from the Society of Wine Educators.
