About Schramsberg

Rimple Nayyur

Meet Your Guide, Rimple Nayyer

Rimple began his wine career in the mid-1990s, a passion that led him to open Bar Divani, a wine-focused restaurant in Grand Rapids, MI in 2002, featuring global small plates, wine education classes, and monthly wine dinners. In 2013, he became Food and Beverage Director at Peter Island Resort and Spa in the British Virgin Islands, where he overhauled the food and wine program to a Michelin-starred caliber.

In 2015, Rimple moved to Napa, joining Schramsberg as a wine educator before being promoted to Hospitality Manager at Davies Vineyards in St. Helena, CA, where he develops tasting and educational experiences and conducts wine dinners and account visits nationwide. He holds a WSET Diploma, is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, and a Certified Specialist of Wines from the Society of Wine Educators.
