The Spa at Inn at Bay Harbor is proud to offer Fitness Classes at the Inn's state-of-the-art fitness center! Each week, we will offer multiple professionally-led classes where resort and public guests of all levels are welcome. Find your vacation motivation, or switch up your wellness routine!

Mondays | 8am

Barre Classes

Barre is a low-impact toning class based on elements of Pilates, yoga, and ballet. Light weights and high repetition are used in toning the entire body. Abdominal and lower body are emphasized as well as work on upper body, back, and flexibility.

Mondays | 9am

Yoga

Simple flowing sequences of yoga postures and poses to align, strengthen and promote flexibility. Slower-paced stretches, in harmony with breath work, make warming the body and calming the nervous system the focus of this class.

Wednesdays | 8am

Weight Training

A weight training class that offers a whole-body workout to tighten, tone, and improve overall strength. This low-impact class utilizes weights, bands, mats, and your own body weight.

Yoga Fusion

An high energy yoga class, featuring traditional poses and postures woven with weight lifting and the use of resistance bands for added toning.

Sunset Sound Healing

This unique outdoor wellness experience invites participants to gather lakeside to embrace true relaxation through the power of sound. Let the frequencies and vibrations of crystal quartz singing bowls, alongside the soothing waves of Lake Michigan gently lull you into a state of calm.

Our Instructor

Meet Tyra

Tyra is the Inn's year-round fitness instructor. She works as an elementary school art and physical education teacher in the area, and has over seven years of experience teaching fitness classes. A certified personal trainer, she is also certified in teaching Barre, Yoga, Cardio bootcamp, HIIT, weight training, Spin, Zumba, and more. She has a passion for living an active lifestyle, and loves the energy, motivation, drive, and friendships that are created through group fitness.

Pricing & Registration


Fitness Classes | $20 per person
Register and purchase online up until 10pm the day prior to class.
Drop-in space may be available, but is not guaranteed.

Sunset Sound Healing | $40 per person
Advance registration required. Register and purchase online up until 3pm the day of class.

All necessary equipment is provided, including Lululemon yoga mats, and all skill levels are welcome! Space is limited, so we recommend registering for your preferred class in advance! Youth ages 15+ are welcome with an adult.
