NEW FOR 2022, The Spa at Inn at Bay Harbor is proud to introduce Fitness Classes at the Inn's state-of-the-art fitness center. Each week through the summer, we will offer three different classes where guests and locals of all levels are welcome. Find your vacation motivation, or switch up your workout routine!

Class Details

Monday-Thursday mornings through August 2022, enjoy Barre, Cardio, and Yoga Fusion classes in a small group setting! Space is limited, so we recommend registering for your preferred class in advance.  All equipment is provided, all skill levels are welcome! Youth ages 15+ are welcome with an adult.

$20 per class.

Monday-Thursday

Barre

Barre class is a low impact toning class. Barre is based on, but not limited to, elements of Pilates, yoga, and ballet. Light weights and high repetition are used in toning the entire body. Abdominal and lower body are emphasized as well as work on upper body, back, and flexibility.

Yoga Fusion

Power through your flow with Yoga Fusion, a class that builds strength and endurance, burns calories, and improves flexibility. Traditional weight training exercises are incorporated into yoga postures to sculpt long, lean muscles.

Cardio Interval

This is a great all-in-one class for those looking for calorie-burning and allover toning. Participants will be led through alternating short bursts of cardio, including both high and low-impact movements, and work using weights and resistance.

Meet the Instructor

TYRA

My name is Tyra, and I recently moved to northern Michigan! I am an elementary school art and physical education teacher in the area, and I have been teaching fitness classes for over four years. I am a certified personal trainer and certified to teach Barre, Yoga, Cardio bootcamp, Hiit, weight training, Spin, Zumba dance and more. I have a passion for living an active lifestyle, and I love the energy, motivation, drive and friendships that are created through group fitness.

Pricing  & Registration

All classes are $20 per person.
Register and purchase online up until 10pm the day prior to class.

All necessary equipment is provided, including Lululemon yoga mats.

Drop-in space may be available, but is not guaranteed.
