Fitness Classes

The Spa at Inn at Bay Harbor is proud to offer Fitness Classes at the Inn's state-of-the-art fitness center. Each week throughout the winter season, we will offer two different classes where guests and locals of all levels are welcome. Find your vacation motivation, or switch up your workout routine!

Class Details

Saturday mornings this winter*, enjoy Barre and Yoga classes in a small group setting! Space is limited, so we recommend registering for your preferred class in advance.  All equipment is provided, all skill levels are welcome! Youth ages 15+ are welcome with an adult.

$20 per class.

Barre class is a low impact toning class. Barre is based on, but not limited to, elements of Pilates, yoga, and ballet. Light weights and high repetition are used in toning the entire body. Abdominal and lower body are emphasized as well as work on upper body, back, and flexibility.

Traditional Yoga

Enjoy a sequence of yoga postures and poses to align, strengthen and promote flexibility.  Simple flowing sequences to warm the body along with slower-paced stretches, in harmony with breath work, make calming the nervous system the focus of this class.

Meet the Instructor


My name is Tyra, and I recently moved to northern Michigan! I am an elementary school art and physical education teacher in the area, and I have been teaching fitness classes for over four years. I am a certified personal trainer and certified to teach Barre, Yoga, Cardio bootcamp, Hiit, weight training, Spin, Zumba dance and more. I have a passion for living an active lifestyle, and I love the energy, motivation, drive and friendships that are created through group fitness.

Pricing  & Registration

All classes are $20 per person.
Register and purchase online up until 10pm the day prior to class.

All necessary equipment is provided, including Lululemon yoga mats.

Drop-in space may be available, but is not guaranteed.
